About Me
Hello! My name is Janine and Iโm the founder of Jeva Hair and Skincare! By day, Iโm a professional Nurse and Midwife, helping to care for others and bringing new life into the world. But by night, I enjoy creating natural hair and body products for my friends, family, and now YOU, to enjoy!
Outside work, Iโm the mother of two successful adult children, of whom Iโm very proud! On my days off, you can find me in the kitchen cooking and baking yummy treats, catching up with friends and enjoying live music.
About Jeva
Far too many of us have experienced the consequences of chemical hair treatments, poorly made products and skin conditions. It can be so challenging to find natural products that deliver the desired results, and often, this search will cost us time, money, and trigger an endless cycle of hope, frustration, and disappointment.
As someone who has suffered from chronic seborrheic dermatitis, I was fed-up! I wanted change! I needed a breakthrough!
I was tired of hiding my body and living in shame, and so when my son began to face similar problems with his own skin, I knew it was time for action!
I dedicated the next 10 years to learning about natural butters, oils and essential oils and understanding how nature has provided us with an army of tools with which to care and heal our bodies. There was a lot of trial and error(!), but as I continued working on my recipes and formulations, I began to see real results and as my skin and hair grew in health, so did my confidence!
Producing my own natural skin and hair products has truly been a game changer for me, and I have watched in awe as my products have healed and nourished my body.
My Story
My story is not unique or uncommon, and this is what inspired me to create Jeva. I want others to experience the joy of living comfortably in their skin, to know that there are natural products which have been created with them in mind! Whether you are looking to grow your hair, treat a skin condition, or just looking for natural products to incorporate into your daily routine, Jeva is the answer you have been looking for.
