About Me
Hello! My name is Janine and I’m the founder of Jeva Hair and Skincare! By day, I’m a professional Nurse and Midwife, helping to care for others and bringing new life into the world. But by night, I enjoy creating natural hair and body products for my friends, family, and now YOU, to enjoy!
Outside work, I’m the mother of two successful adult children, of whom I’m very proud! On my days off, you can find me in the kitchen cooking and baking yummy treats, catching up with friends and enjoying live music.
About Jeva
Far too many of us have experienced the consequences of chemical hair treatments, poorly made products and skin conditions. It can be so challenging to find natural products that deliver the desired results, and often, this search will cost us time, money, and trigger an endless cycle of hope, frustration, and disappointment.
As someone who has suffered from chronic seborrheic dermatitis, I was fed-up! I wanted change! I needed a breakthrough!
I was tired of hiding my body and living in shame, and so when my son began to face similar problems with his own skin, I knew it was time for action!
I dedicated the next 10 years to learning about natural butters, oils and essential oils and understanding how nature has provided us with an army of tools with which to care and heal our bodies. There was a lot of trial and error(!), but as I continued working on my recipes and formulations, I began to see real results and as my skin and hair grew in health, so did my confidence!
Producing my own natural skin and hair products has truly been a game changer for me, and I have watched in awe as my products have healed and nourished my body.
My Story

My story is not unique or uncommon, and this is what inspired me to create Jeva. I want others to experience the joy of living comfortably in their skin, to know that there are natural products which have been created with them in mind! Whether you are looking to grow your hair, treat a skin condition, or just looking for natural products to incorporate into your daily routine, Jeva is the answer you have been looking for.
These products truly do work, and my hope is that through this hair and skincare line, you will reach a new level of healing, growth and self-care.

I have always suffered from skin conditions, largely on my back, and using the oil mixed into my body lotion daily has kept me from having a flare up since I started using it about a year ago. A wonderful aroma on my skin, I often get complimented on how I smell and it's all down to the oil! I have recommended it to friends and they have found that the antimicrobial, antifungal and soothing properties of the essential oil mixtures used have helped them in different ways to great effect. I have been using it regularly as a leave in scalp treatment overnight and have found that my scalp is soothed and much less dry. Home of Midwifery28/10/2023Amazing products. My hair line had thinned out due to bad products. I felt bald in some areas😢.I had struggled to get it back. It’s been about 5 months since I started using these products. The outcome is so obvious, I don’t need hide my hair line anymore.! My hair bands are binned. I am proud to show off my own hair. I bought them to prepare my skin for my wedding and my honeymoon after getting bitten by midges in Scotland previously and had some healing to do!
